  • Dr. Michael B. Morgan
    Dr. Michael B. Morgan
    Pathologist in Charleston, Bluefield, & Princeton, WV

    Dr. Morgan completed his medical degree, internal medicine internship, and residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa. During his time at the university, he also served as Chief Resident of Pathology. Likewise, Dr. Morgan completed a fellowship in Dermatopathology and a second residence in Dermatology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City.

    As a regular contributor and editor to peer-reviewed scientific journals, Dr. Morgan has authored or co-authored over 200 articles and five books on Dermatology.

    In addition to his contribution to research and publishing, Dr. Morgan has served in roles of academic leadership in Pathology and Dermatology at the University of Florida, the University of South Florida, Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Michigan State University. Furthermore, as a professor of Pathology at Michigan State University College of Medicine, he has also lectured at international conferences and served as Editor in Chief for Cutaneous Medicine. Dr. Morgan remains as a lead or co-lead for investigative teams for several grant-supported pathology research studies.

    Dr. Carlos Ricotti

    Carlos A. Ricotti, MD, is a double board-certified professional in dermatology and dermatopathology as certified by the American Boards of Dermatology and Pathology. He completed his residency in dermatology at the University of Miami and a dermatopathology fellowship at the University of Texas, Southwestern (UTSW) in Dallas. 

    Ricotti has had a diverse career, having served as faculty in the Department of Dermatology at UTSW before relocating to South Florida as a staff physician for the University of Miami Hospitals' inpatient dermatology unit. He has been Co-Director of the Larkin Community Hospital dermatology inpatient unit, director of dermatopathology at Vitro Molecular Laboratories, and a team dermatologist at ClearlyDerm. 

    Carlos A. Ricotti, MD, is a double board-certified professional in dermatology and dermatopathology as certified by the American Boards of Dermatology and Pathology. He completed his residency in dermatology at the University of Miami and a dermatopathology fellowship at the University of Texas, Southwestern (UTSW) in Dallas.     Ricotti's interests lie in psoriasis, inflammatory skin conditions, and various forms of skin cancers. He is a published author of scientific journals and book chapters for dermatology texts, and has been invited to speak at national and international medical conferences. He is continuously involved in various clinical trials, striving to provide the most up-to-date and thorough diagnostic and therapeutic options for his patients.
