Dr. Morgan completed his medical degree, internal medicine internship, and residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa. During his time at the university, he also served as Chief Resident of Pathology. Likewise, Dr. Morgan completed a fellowship in Dermatopathology and a second residence in Dermatology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City.
As a regular contributor and editor to peer-reviewed scientific journals, Dr. Morgan has authored or co-authored over 200 articles and five books on Dermatology.
In addition to his contribution to research and publishing, Dr. Morgan has served in roles of academic leadership in Pathology and Dermatology at the University of Florida, the University of South Florida, Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Michigan State University. Furthermore, as a professor of Pathology at Michigan State University College of Medicine, he has also lectured at international conferences and served as Editor in Chief for Cutaneous Medicine. Dr. Morgan remains as a lead or co-lead for investigative teams for several grant-supported pathology research studies.
